Masters degree in Oriental Medicine, Board Certified Acupuncturist through NCCAOM
Background Chris Ormseth has an undergraduate degree form South Dakota State University and is a nationally board certified acupuncturist with a degree in oriental medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnesota.
Special internships while attending Northwestern include The Courage Center treating stroke, traumatic brain injury, and paralysis. Experience treating hiv and aids patients at the Aliveness center, and experience at salvation army in Downtown Minneapolis.
Chris was directed to chinese medicine due to chronic cold and flu, and severe allergies. Acupuncture was very effective in treating these, thus decided to seek out a career where he may do the same for other people.
In the fall of 2007 he opened a clinic in downtown Spearfish South Dakota.

- Trained in Orthopedic Dry Needling
- Undergraduate Degree in Education from South Dakota State University
- Currently practice Chinese Medicine in Spearfish, SD since October of 2007
- Teach continuing education courses across the Midwest since 2009; these classes include Cupping, Tui Na and Gua Sha, and Meridians and Acupuncture.
